1. Service Fee vs Government Fee
All payments made on Mispay Legal consist of two parts:
- Service Fee — Our charge for processing, verification and submission. This may be refunded under conditions below.
- Government Fee — Charges paid to government authorities (stamps, challans, etc.). These are non-refundable once submitted, as they are paid to a third-party government body.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Full Refund (100% of Service Fee)
You are eligible for a full service fee refund if:
- You cancel your application within 24 hours of submission and before any documents have been verified or processed.
- Our team is unable to process your application due to a technical issue or error on our part.
- The service you applied for is not available in your area and no alternative was offered.
Partial Refund (50% of Service Fee)
A partial refund may be considered if:
- Your application was rejected by the government authority for reasons outside your control.
- The service is cancelled after verification but before government portal submission.
No Refund
No refund will be issued if:
- The application has been submitted to the government portal (status: "Submitted to Govt Portal" or beyond).
- Your application was rejected due to incorrect, incomplete, or fraudulent documents provided by you.
- You change your mind after processing has begun.
- Government fees have already been paid.
- The application has reached "Approved" or "Delivered" status.
3. Cancellation Policy
To cancel an application:
- Log in to your account and go to My Applications.
- Raise a complaint/cancellation request with reason.
- Alternatively, contact our support team via WhatsApp or email with your Application Number.
Cancellations are accepted only when the application status is Pending or Documents Received. Once processing begins, cancellation is not guaranteed.
4. Wallet Credits
If a refund is approved, the amount is credited back to your Mispay Legal wallet within 3–5 working days. Wallet balance can be used for future applications or withdrawn on request (retailer accounts only).
Online payments (Razorpay) refunded to the original payment source may take 5–10 banking days depending on your bank.
5. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate by emailing help@mispaylegal.in with "Refund Dispute" in the subject line. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 working days.
