• Payment: Transaction references, UPI IDs (we do not store card numbers)
• Account: Login credentials (password stored as encrypted hash)

Information collected automatically:

• IP address and browser information when you visit our website
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
• Device information: device type, operating system

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and manage your document service applications
• To communicate with you about your application status via WhatsApp, SMS and email
• To verify your identity as required by government processes
• To process payments and maintain wallet transactions
• To improve our services and troubleshoot issues
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• To prevent fraud and misuse of our platform

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Government Authorities: Your documents and application details are shared with relevant government departments as required to process your applications (e.g., Aadhaar portal, state government websites).
• Authorized Retailers: If you apply through a retailer, they can see your application details and status but not your password or payment details.
• Payment Processors: Razorpay processes online payments. We share only the information necessary for payment processing. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• MSG91: We use MSG91 to send WhatsApp and SMS notifications. Your phone number is shared for this purpose.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers in India. We implement the following security measures:

• Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt)
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Access to personal data restricted to authorized staff only
• Regular security audits and activity logging
• Session timeout after 24 hours of inactivity

While we take reasonable measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

• Uploaded documents are retained for 2 years after application completion
• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
